Growing up on a pig farm in Hertfordshire, our path was set from an early age.

There always was one cantankerous pig, miserable, and even some would say, Grumpy! Our father's paths crossed, and as sons, we followed them into the food industry. Until one day, we met and struck upon the Grumpy brand, based on our old friend Mr Pig! His disgruntled smile ironically made people laugh, so we thought, why not add other characters from the farm? That day the brand was born, and although we may be at the start of our journey, we like to think that bad-tempered old pig is smiling somewhere, happy at being the inspiration for our Grumpy family of friends.
