The cook levels on our bacon are explained by the time and weight the rashers lose during the cooking process. For example, a 200/100 cooked streaky would have started as 200 grams of raw product and was cooked until it reached 100 grams. If you require a darker cooked streaky bacon, say a 270/100, this would need to be cooked for a longer period, so we would start with 270 grams and cook this until it reached 100 grams.
All our bacon products are naturally smoked over Beechwood.
This will depend on the cooking level, but generally, you will find between 90-120 full rashers in each 1 kg tray.
We offer 2kg, 1kg, 900 gram and 500-gram trays in all our products. We can also provide full rashers, half rashers or calibrated rashers for uniformity.
