  • Where is my bacon produced?

    All our bacon is manufactured in a BRC-accredited factory. BRC stands for British retail consortium, which is a standard for better food safety and control of food products, ensuring all Grumpy bacon products are produced to the highest food safety standards


  • What is your minimum order quantity?

    To order direct from us you would need to be able to take a full pallet, which consists of 54 cases,  432 x 1 kg trays of cooked bacon. This can be a mixed pallet of many different products. We appreciate that even if you love our products that's a lot of bacon, so we have distributors all over the UK that can deliver by the case or pack. Please email or call us for details


  • How quickly do I need to eat my pack of bacon once open?

    Once a bacon tray has been opened, you should consume this within 48 hours. The bacon can be frozen as long as this is done so whilst the product is still in date and within the 48-hour guidelines.  If a 1kg pack is a little too much to use within 48 hours, we also offer small 900-gram and 500-gram trays


  • Can I buy your bacon frozen?

    We only sell chilled bacon with anything from 60 days to 150 days of chilled shelf life, depending on the product. We do offer, however, dual-dated labels if required offering a chilled and frozen shelf life


  • How do I warm up my bacon?

    Our bacon is ready to eat and can be eaten straight from the pack. However, if you wish to eat it hot you can many different formats including microwave, pan fry, grill and air fryer


  • Can I buy The Grumpy Pigs Bacon in the supermarket?

    Unfortunately, at this moment in time no, you can only buy from wholesalers or cash and carry, but retail is something we hope to look at in the future.


  • Which areas do you supply?

    We supply our products all over the UK, including Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales. We also deliver weekly to the Republic of Ireland and the Channel Islands
